Great article, Matthew. Our Cary office now has two providers who specialize in DBT, what is largely considered the most effective treatment for BPD. Tany Guinn, LPC hopes to start a DBT group at our Cary office soon. Amy Kline, LPC, has worked extensively with children with BPD. We feel very lucky to have two experts as partners because as the article mentions, many mental health care givers are not adequately trained to treat BPD.
